Every manufacturer that falls under the Cyber Resilience Act needs the work done, and many of them have no compliance team to do it. That gap is where consultancies, testing bodies, and managed security providers come in. We built a free Partner Academy to get their people fluent in both the regulation and the platform they deliver it on, with a verifiable certificate at the end.
Who it is for
The academy is open to anyone and needs no account. It is written for two groups. The first is consultants already delivering CRA compliance for clients on CVD Portal, who want their team to work the console confidently and speak to the regulation with authority. The second is firms weighing up whether to add CRA delivery to what they offer, who can use the same material to judge the fit. Product design firms, testing and certification bodies, and managed security providers each deliver the CRA in their own way, and the course speaks to all of them.
Three tracks, eleven modules
The curriculum runs to eleven short modules across three tracks, and you can read them in order or jump to what you need.
- Platform mechanics covers how to operate the partner console, from provisioning a client and running bulk document intake through the cross-client review queue, consultant seats, billing, and co-branding
- CRA regulation covers the law itself, from scope and the product classification tiers through the Annex I obligations, conformity assessment, Article 14 reporting, and the penalty structure
- Sales enablement covers how to position and price the work, handle the objections that come up, and choose the clients to approach first
The regulation track cites its sources
The regulation track is grounded in our published CRA article explainers, and every lesson and exam question points back to the relevant article or annex on cvdportal.com. A question about the reporting clocks links to the Article 14 explainer. A question about which products need a third-party assessment links to Annex III. The aim is a consultant who can give the right answer and show a client exactly where it comes from.
The exam and the certificate
The exam is 15 scenario questions drawn from a larger pool, so every attempt is different. Score 75 percent and the certificate is issued straight away, with a public verification link the holder can share with the manufacturers they serve. Certification sits with the person and travels with them between employers. Retaking is free and unlimited, and each attempt ends with a full review that shows the correct answer, the reasoning behind it, and a link to read more.
Why it is free
A consultant who understands the regulation delivers a better outcome for the manufacturer, and a manufacturer served by a certified consultant gets more for the money they spend. The certificate is a signal both sides can trust. Making the training free and public is the fastest way to raise the standard of CRA delivery across the market we work in.
